drampa has 78/85/91 defenses, with 135 special attack. And an ability that boosts its specialt attack a stage when its hp drops below half. and it also gets sap sipper.

drampa also gets good moves like glare, calm mind, play rough, hurricane, surf, ice beam and fire blast.

Druddigon is much more arbitrarily geometric than Turtonator. Turtonator is at least reminiscent of an actual animal.

I liked Druddigon when it revealed with the rest of Gen 5 and it stayed on my favorite list for a long time. I don't like it as much as I did now, but it's still a favorite.

Drampa and Turtonator were a couple of things I looked forward to using in SM reveals, but Turtonator's been somewhat disappointing and I haven't been as enthusiastic over Drampa when the game actually released. I still kind of like them, but not that much.

Druddigon has 485 BST too? Interesting. I still think it should be Rock/Dragon though.

As for what I think about all three of them... not bad. Dragon types can't all be overpowered monsters, even though the Fairy type did fix that a bit. These guys are just regular dragons. No families, just strong on their own merit, even if they lack in other aspects.

Swapping the twos' stats like the post >>31551727
suggested would make Turtonator worse unless you were to swap its (now 120) attack with its special attack, making spATK 120 and normal attack 60

Drampa would be better with a little more BST. He is one of few Alola Pokemon that have a decent movepool. Maybe something like 550 or 530.

Never used any of these, would like to. Old man dragon is pretty great.

Excellent shiny too

Drampa is a very close second.

Not a big fan of the turtle, but then again I haven't used it in battle either.
