am I missing something or are gems ridiculously expensive (in terms of real world dosh)
even if you buy the $31 pack, thats 504 gems which nets you a 6 pack and a 4 pack
so 10 packs total

I'm sure my perception of gem worth is skewed because of the intro throwing gems at us but that doesn't feel like its even close to worth spending any money on

I have a $30 gift card thats rotting away because I don't have anything to spend it on, and even so I feel like its a waste to use for what is in the long run such an insignificant amount

I feel like if something has enough white attacks for an x-attack to be reliable, then its attacks should be strong enough without it anyway

you should ask if they're good when unevolved really
if they're useful at every stage then its good to do the evo line
squirtle is decent with 3 mp and a nice withdraw ability
so you can move him around and if you get to evolve him its a good way to get a fat blastoise further on the field
but squirtle isnt likely to be winning many battles to evolve in the first place

Any 1 MP Pokemon works good as a defender. They don't move much, and have high damage. Charizard and Metagross are my favorite EXs for the job. Zard can get ridiculously high damage, and Metagross has a Yellow attack, so it can stop Purples sometimes.

Load screens no, crashing to title screen yes.
But all mobile games are released in pre-beta now, give them 2 months they run fine (except GO, because niantic)

Starting early is the best way to get good gear though.

Nobody knows that it can slip through pokemon after it puts them to sleep, I've won so many duels based on that alone

It can slip through grass pokeon too but i dont really use that
Also today has been a great day for duels, i've had three really good ones, all of them involving latios who i have yet to see used effectively

My favorite so far
>Turn one, opponent throws out Latios
>I set leafeon in front of it, end turn
>Latios attacks, manages to land on tiny miss spot, not out of the game
>Move Lefeon to block entry point
>opponent uses meaningless move
>Leafeon moves to goal

Id have three of these fuckers in my deck if i had them

At least Pokemon Duel actually is a game for all its flaws. It's incredible how all the other Pokemon spinoffs were better at launch than Go is after half a year of nothing-updates.

I feel like they didn't structure the early game that well. I wasn't at risk of running out of energy for like the first 4 towers or something. Every time the bosses just refilled me so at one point whenever I turned the game on I was just grinding random stages so I didn't "waste" the refills.

Its just fucking looping with bots getting all the stall rolls while i keep getting the 10% miss rolls.

At least there is a fucking time limit in pvp. I wish there was more rewards just for playing against other people like literally thats the whole fucking point of this game being on the phone.
