I don't have a template for these, but I wanna see a fighting type gym leader who was a former deliquient who often got into street brawls with his prized pokemon, now settled down and focused on becoming a gym leader/ E4 member. Or have a fighting gym leader who's a fighting game enthusiast, and he can explain the technical importance of each pokemon on his team. They could use it as an excuse to make pokken canon in universe. say he won Pokken at the pokemon universe's equivalent to EVO or something.
