Golurk is my favourite mon, I have to agree on the BST thing, especially when it's attack is over 1/4 of that total.

Also, it gets Iron Fist Shadow Punch if you REALLY want Ghost STAB, but even then it's only 72 BP before STAB, whereas you could use something like Ice Punch or Drain Punch over it for, almost as strong, physical coverage options.

Its attack is fine if you're using Iron Fist(as you should anyway. His only good move with No Guard is dynamic punch and Machamp does that better).

Golurk deserved better. It was a beast and blessed design wise. seriosly bump it up to 515-520 BST and give it a decent ghost move. Hell give it a signature move.

This. I wish it could have at least gotten 500 bst to add +18 to attack. 482 bst with that distribution is a bit disappointing compared to other cross-gen evos. I want a mega, but the only real hope it has right now is Gamefreak giving it buffs like they did with Mantine and Pelipper.

A lot of the starters. Charizard, Typhlosion, Sceptile, Emboar, Decidueye etc. They're the Pokemon most people get attached to easily, yet most of them are pretty shit.

For actually being retarded enough to think the game is improved by having tons of pokemon that suck so much that no one uses them. Your starter is probably better than half the stuff you run into. People solo the whole game with their starter and a few HM slaves (back when HMs existed). Maybe if there were more than a handful of pokemon worth catching that wouldn't be the case.

Considering the only thing they've done is add 10 BST (Or 25 if you're Farfetch'd) to a pokemon or given them weather changing abilities Which only really works with pokemon of specific types), Megas are pretty much the only way for a pokemon to get a significant buff.

Honestly I would not mind if the next gen was a massive balance patch. Reexamine the base stats and movepools of all Pokemon. Change abilities, etc.

Mostly intended as a "buff what's in need of it" but there are some conventions that started in early gens and never really went away that could stand to be revised (the ubiquity of certain moves like Earthquake)

The game would still be bank compatible it would just have to alter Pokemon to reflect changes.

Well Zing Zap exists, and it might not stay Togedemaru's signature for long.
Plus and Minus didnt stay signature abilities (albeit terrible nonetheless) and Huge Power went to something besides Azumarill eventually. Dont think Emonga or Pachirisu have anything interesting and im not sure on the state of Parabolic Charge either
