This happened to me. My parents sold my DS in a garage sale with my copy of Pokémon Diamond.

This is why I hacked my 3DS, and remade all of my favorite Pokémon. They are exactly the same as my bros. Even have their old dream world memories. It's like they're back from the dead, I love it.
