GX was the cringiest and edgiest piece of yugioh and all the fucks claiming the bad writing is some sort of deconstruction don't know shit about literary and film studies

To be fair it was not well-written at all, I didn't watch GX for the writing, I'll read for that. I just like those stupid glossy "miracle" moments that happen as well as the duels which couldn't happen in real life due to how important consistency is in a deck

That's because GX writers gave itself stories. Other than some mini arcs in Pokémon, most episodes are the normal "PREPAER FOR TUURBEL UURRRH TAM RUKITS BLAST OF AGIN"
