Honestly, its becoming fucking sad. You're not only going to make kids think that if they evolve their Pikachu in their own game they're an asshole with no heart and the message of "you don't have to change the way you look to be my friend" has worn itself out to the point the message can be skewed into "I'll love you only if you stay a Pikachu forever and ever". Because wouldn't a BETTER message be that even though its appearance may have changed on the outside, its still the same friend you battled countless times with on the inside?
