2. Game sync
3. Go to your profile on PGL
4. QR Rental Teams on the left, confirm your team exists under the "Battle Teams formed" tab and hit register
5. follow directions, receive QR

Example QR, this is my doubles Battle Tree team I used to get to 200. It seems nicknames don't get saved to the QR.

You use it when you would pick a team for the Battle Tree or online. Instead of picking one of yours, go to the leftmost option.

Stoked Sparksurfer is my favorite Z-move.
Tapu Koko is stronger with Life Orb and can typically OHKO something in the first turn while Raichu hits the other with Fake Out. Second turn, Raichu nukes something or heavily dents it, and Tapu Koko gets another KO or two depending on how weak they are to Dazzling Gleam.

No, Online Competitions are event competitions that happen each month. They usually have special rulesets, this one is limited to the VGC 2017 rules. Usually they offer items, BP, or Special Pokemon if you participate.

Smogon offers a lot more formats.

Most of successful 6v6 teams are tailored for the smogon formats only, meaning they can't take hits from stuff outside of their tier.

As long as GF fails at 6v6 smogon will live.

It usually makes a quick refresh with a sort of popup that has your game's info there to select.

If no error appears and the refresh happened it failed to put the popup sort of thing.

Try deleting the cookies for the site and try again?

Sorry I can't help you, did this back in the BW era and just kept going on with the same account forever since then so the only thing needed to do is put the sync code from the game.
