The worst thing is that it's not even a buff. Its special attack is higher than its attack, so it'll run a Flamethrower for STAB anyway. Even if you for some reason wants to make a physical set it still has Flare Blitz. I really can't see how it even benefits from it

I'm guessing it's because Heatmor's movepool is shit, both physical and special, and so it might as well go mixed to at least pretend it has four viable moves. One set is probably because it's bad even in PU and so no one gives enough of a shit to consider other options

yeah but it's not like they had to think about it, it's just a fire type liquidation and it doesn't even make use of its best attacking stat
