>>31639935>I make calm rational points>you scream "salt!", "butthurt!", and "fuck off!" in a thread where you've been complaining non-stop about a videogameand
>my post got 4 replies>one person responding rationally, and one person completely agreeing with me>leaving just you and one single other person who called me a cuck and told me to fuck offWow, "everybody" sure "called me out" huh.
>>31639948>but showing us the Power Plant in the XY trailer was really dumb.Wow, I don't even remember that. But yeah, pre-release stuff should be kept to a strictly "this is what you're getting" focus. Showing stuff that can only be seen in a speculator manner is just setting people up for disappointment.
>I dont think it's particularly ridiculous or unfair to SM. >I dont know, every map since Gen 4 has been detailed enough to give us pretty much every location. But were they shown in high-quality pre-release? I only remember this happening for Alola.
>even in the Gen V maps, every location on the map is in the games. You get to ride the Ferris Wheel, you get to take the train to AnvilleIf I was trying to follow the mentality of this thread, I would be complaining about how the train in Anville is actually not rideable, that the town is empty and the main thing shown about it on the map is just for show. Now I still consider this a nitpick, with Unova being my favorite region, so when people make that same very exact complaint about the lighthouse in Alola, well it seems unfair.
Being upset about wanting more content is one thing, but nitpicking stuff just because you see it on the map, or in the background, and convinced yourself there was more too it, well thats not fair IMO. You can do that with lots of landmarks and things across every game, and it feels right now that it's a double-standard of criticism against Alola.
I barely even like Alola, it's not in my top half of regions, but this threads complaining just seems really unjustified.
