Man, what is it about Gen3 music?

I've been a Pokemon player since Gen1 and for some reason neither Gen1 or 2 stuck with me like Gen3 did. I mean I still love the first two gens, and they have nostalgic tracks, but everything about Gen3 feels perfect. It's like there's a certain age where nostalgia is more powerful. People older than me probably like Gen2 more and people younger probably Gen4 more.
