X/Y was comfy and the region was colorful and cute with lots of stuff to explore and good post game, SM has nothing going on for it even the music was better in X/Y.

Because Alola has the worst level design of any region yet, a shit story because it's extremely prevalent, fails to make sense at critical points and is full of missed opportunities and the content and features generally suck, e.g the Poké Finder is pointless and unfun and the Festival Plaza is cancer.

SM's palette is definitely more vibrant

I enjoyed X and Y more after all is said and done. It was novel at the time and plenty of fellow kids were playing it, it was like Pokemania was back. Plus with instacheck it felt like more of a community, especially since the 3ds wasn't blown the fuck open with save editors just yet, so you could go online for pokemon with your SV , or your friend's SV or help some fag from halfway across the world with his shit.

It was a simpler time. It was a better time

Kalos was shit, all the kalos characters were shit, a lot of the kalos pokemon were shit, and it had the least content of any game.

31.5 without items, since those are gated behind bp, and I'm not doing battle tree until I have ev trained pokemon. That's including pokerus, chaining, and 2 ev's per pokemon, so 8 ev's per kill. As I said, I'm not ev training unless I get pokerus.

Without pokerus, that's 4 ev's per kill. 63 kills per maxed stat. No thanks. Haven't really looked into poke pelago. I doubt it's really much better, but I will take a look

I don't think SM was a bad game, I enjoyed it a lot, especially the singleplayer story. Oddly lacking in online however, but it's still an excellent game.

As far as the one I liked the least, I'll have to say gen 3. Had great designs but they marked a very strange trend in pokemon designs and a lackluster singleplayer campaign, combined with having none of the online features later gens enjoyed. Other gens had features I really enjoyed (1/2 were basically the same thing but 4 had the new online, 5 had a few characters I enjoyed in progression and had extra GTS sections, 6 had excellent online and pretty graphics to make up for the awful singleplayer campaign).

I think at this point it's already well established that SuMo are the most hated games in the series, considering the massive amount of people in this thread rejecting it for the abomination it is.
