no. Hoenn E4 have the most generic trainers. It's almost a perfect copy from Kanto E4. And Glacia is easily the worst E4 member of all.

There's not that many Ronald McDonald rip offs in Nintendo games.

Gen 1 and 3 Kanto's elite 4 was more generic.

I guess I could see a parallel between Lorelei and Glacia, but there aren't very many similarities outside of shared types, which shouldn't really matter here.

This. The only stand out trainer is Drake, and even then he IS another Lance.
Phoebe is boring and could've passed for a generic trainer class.

Sinnoh's E4 was a weird issue only highlighted by their gym leaders being fairly memorable. Lucius and Bertha were at least dressed like actual people, but Aaron and Flint were just generic mallrat looking kids. Even Candice had a distinct look about her and she had no gimmick other than being schoolgirl fapbait. Volkner was the only gym leader as poorly designed as the E4 for that region. Well, that and maybe Gardenia
