I don't mind people genning at all, but it's kinda demotivating to work hard for shinies. I wish you could inject good IVs/Evs etc. but not being shiny.

don't hack and don't really chase shinys but I've amassed half a box full of various lvl 100 shinys with perfect IVs just from random wonder trades

I've got at least 40 shinies in my possession, some caught, others received in trades. I only ever use a handful of them though.
