I feel they tried to pull a "natural" and "not natural" mega evolution with both Charizard and Mewtwo.

See how the X's megas add a new type, while Y's one got the same type as their original forms.

Seriously. I've seen this suggestion pop up on theorycrafting Mega Feraligatr, Mega Poliwrath, Mega Charizard Z (Fire/Fighting), and now this. What the actual fuck.
