lucky ivs. I know most legendary pokemon are guaranteed to get you at least 2 or 3 perfect ivs from what i've seen but yours is way better than any of mine

3 IVs are guaranteed on legendaries gen6 and onward and from RBGY transfers

I need to go back into RBY and try to get more dittos after finishing E4 and having a way of reliably grinding for more money, most IVs I have on a ditto as of now are 4

Lucky, but it's a bad nature so it's really not worth it. IVs can be fixed with caps, so natures are more important these days.

On the stats screen and IV checking screen, two of the stats' names are a slightly different colour; the pale red is increased, the pale blue is increased. In OP's example, Defense is increased and Sp.Def is decreased.

They only started IV locking in Gen 6 as far as I'm aware.
People just RNG abused or hacked before then.

unfortunately, natures are the only important thing. with a bit more time, you can fix imperfect IVs, but you cant ever fix natures, and it's not like you can ignore them.

HP Fairy is just an inferior HP Ice anyway. There are not quite enough Pokémon x4 weak to Fairy to justify using it over Ice.

It makes sense. A neutral Thunderbolt in Electric Terrain hits harder than a SE Dazzling Gleam, so HP Ice is just there for the ground-types and 4x weaknesses.
