most pokemon are physical attackers or special attackers, not mixed. and even if a pokemon has both good attack and good special attack, you will prefer to give him a nature that benefits one of those stats, and choose attacks of only one type.
the most common exception is water pokemon with high attack, they will usually get a physical attack + scald because scald is very useful even with low special attack.
use the website smogon, google smogon + the pokemon you want to know about, but read other options, not only the sets they give you, and consider some moves are egg moves, or move tutor moves, so impossible to get in games like Sun Moon.
