Gamefreak isn't owned by Nintendo, Pokemon is. They can make whatever games they want for whatever platform they want, unless it's Pokemon. Then they'd need Nintendo's permission.

Gamefreak's liscense of Pokémon is owned by Nintendo

They are otherwise allowed to do other things

If you remember, there was a collab with Gamefreak and Sega of a Rambo Elephant game

It sold like shit because Ding Dong, platformers sell more on Nintendo consoles and Wii U not 3DS got it

this and other shit valve has done in the past few years is why I avoid purchasing from steam when other options are available, I'm most likely just going to wait for the inevitable switch port

I've been playing it for a little while and while the beginning is kinda slow and there's the usual flaw of physics puzzles being able to be bruteforced by exploiting the physics engine.
The boss fights are fucking damn good.
