The forest to the north, the village's source of food and connection to the wider world, is dying and shriveling up for unknown reasons. Your only clue is to find the 'King of the Forest,' though exact details on that are scarce. While traveling, you encountered and befriended an Oddish and added him to the team.
After being separated from your team, and saving Oddish from the clutches of some spiders, you finally managed to reunite with Oshawott who was trapped, seen as treasure by a greedy Kingler. With some clever distraction, you managed to kill (and eat) the crab. With the path back the way you came inaccessible, you followed the only path available, down a short waterfall into a nearby lake.

Up to 5 mins after the ask post, you can override the get with dubs. Trips can overide dubs, etc. etc. Only the first of each type of get will be accepted.
Keep note that actions can only be performed within the realm of plausibility. You can't pull out items you don't have, you can't use moves you don't know, you can't willingly try to kill yourself etc. etc.
