I'm not gonna lie, I'd love to see fusions become more widespread than just Kyurem or Lusamine+Nihilego.
It's a cool idea, and it's got potential as long as Game Freak treats it with a light touch. For instance, Nihilego fusing with the trainer might use up a team slot (so it can't battle directly), or make it so that it's super-powerful, but if it faints, the player blacks out, sort of like Ash Greninja.
Honestly, between Greninja and Nihilego, I have to wonder if it was something they were going to include early during development, but cut around the time of the XY & Z anime.
