you do realize it would be better for dactyl to run mega-less in that scenario right?
Or am I wrong? the thing is super frail, so it would quickly kill itself with those moves.

The extra power got Mega Aerodactyl banned from STABmons-a metagame where shit like Shore Up Dragon Dance Garchomp is running around-while vanilla is still legal. The extra speed goes a long way, and Mega Aerodactyl's 80/85/85 base defenses aren't terrible enough to be called "super frail".

To elaborate, Mega Aerodactyl's Tough Claws-boosted moves hit slightly harder than those same moves coming from Choice Band vanilla Aerodactyl in addition to having a better Speed tier. Rock Rathian is literally two moves away from Ubers.

Bitch Mega-Aerodactyl is a top UU threat and it's orced to use fucking Wing Attack as its flying move. It would aboslutely be broken with those.
