Repels are shiny condoms so never, except when i need to backtrack some cave and i am really not feeling like dealing with a bunch of low level shitmons showing up ever 5 steps

Related but did anyone else felt like Black and White had a different wild encounter rate? I swear its like the rates increase when you're about to leave the grass areas

I'm sure it's in the code somewhere. It was like everytime I was 1-2 patches away from freedom a pokemon would appear

Playing Black for the first time and more than once I've taken a single step into grass, random encounter, clear it, take one more step, another random encounter. My record so far is three steps, three encounters. Shit's absurd.

I am glad i am not the only one, i got like three encounters with one step between each while exploring a cave, not even Sinnoh pissed me off to the point of intentionally carrying repels
