hi everyone i bought a used N3DS XL (it was xmas time and all the new ones were sold so i had to buy a used one) to play sun and moon on. i bought a cartridge of moon and my nintendo ID has pokemon sun on it.

anyway the 3ds has a nintendo ID on it, and the staff told me i cant transfer my ID onto the 3ds. is this true? cant i just wipe the 3ds and put my nintendo ID on it? that way i can play pokemon sun.

english is my second language i am older than most of you, and dont really have much idea, but i have homebrew soundhax on the 3ds if that means anything at all. please help, it is appreciated. thank you!
