i feel if they made it online people would hive half a shit about it. I think the main reason no one cared about contests in game is because it gets boring seeing the same pokemon with the same move sets all the time. Give us more variety!
It was nice to have something where i could enter any bro and as long as i gave him the right kind of pokeblocks/poffins he could win. Sure move sets still matter, but you can usually make it work. Same thing with pokeathalon. It's nice to have a interactive mini game where i could use my bros that aren't good in competitive. Musicals were such a let down because they were such a water down version they they might as well not have been in the game at all.

If GF would want to keep on surprising people like they claim they want to and if they had any sense of self awareness then they'd do Kalos sequels now (since they still keep on teasing Zygarde in SM without any resolution) or do both third versions at once with some cross regional story

But hey its GF who didnt try for the last three games. We will get Alola 2 with few minor changes here and there and few new cutscenes because they're sooooo exciting, specially all thw waving hands ones

But gen 6 was dog shit I doubt that a sequence will fix it. You have to remember that the other versions with 3rd versions already had a nice base but I really can't see any redeeming qualities from gen 6 bar maybe the customization and the PSS.

Besides i feel like its more about GF repuation at this point. They did three games with little to no content in a row (well ORAS had the most content but still not that much). If they just leave it like that they'll lose a lot of respect, they already did

Gen 6 didnt get more negative reception than any other gen (bar first two). In fact gen 5 is often seen as the weakest outside of this board, probably followed by gen 4 which is stupid but what can you do

Gen 6 brought back many people to Pokemon pre-Pokemon GO.

More trials, more alolan forms, different Z-moves for physical and special moves, earlier Move Reminder (that can only teach moves it could learn at an earlier level, not all moves it can learn by level), more areas to explore, difficulty settings, maybe a "Double Battle Trainers" setting, move tutors, and a difficulty option would be nice.

Why do people keep thinking this is gonna happen? They haven't done a "third game" since Platinum. We didn't get a Pokemon Gray, a Pokemon Z, a Psi Emerald, we're not getting one for this series either

B2W2 are borderline gen5 remakes. Theyre a second pair of games in the same generation, not a re-do of the first pair like Blue, Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, or Platinum.

XY was terrible but it didnt even come CLOSE to the level of absokute garbage that DP were.

It has a lot of flaws, but it did do a couple things right, mainly the dex, 3d, and amie. But DP didn't do ANYTHING better than any other game in the series. Make a pro/con list right now, they'll both have a lot of cons but at least XY will have a few pros
