SAFELY removing cards from EX boxes?

Anyone have and tips on safely removing the the promo cards from EX boxes? I have 2 with me right now, and I can never seem to get them out without damaging the cards.

The packaging is garbage.

I had the exact same boxes, op. get a thin knife/blade and get into the space between the card and plastic. make small incision and you're good to go.
