To claim that gender doesn't exist is to claim that the only difference between the two sexes is biological, and that individual expressions of masculinity and femininity are solely the result of the individual's personality, rather than due to belonging to a gender category. While that's actually more liberating than "anyone can be any gender," Tumblrinas hate it because their entire shtick is banding together in groups based off of their identity politics.
