If it weren't for two of those types(ice and rock) being mainly shitmons and steel being weak to two common offensive types, I would probably hate this type.

Those types are common BECAUSE of steel types being so OP.

Steel was so awesome, the entire metagame shifted to rebalance around it.

Same. Love steel, but the only thing keeping it from being broken is the ground weakness mainly as well as the fact that many of their mons are defensively built
