Does it feel like the MUH BARA QUALITIES aspect of it are really, really exaggerated? Like it's way too ripped or super muscle-y in a lot of fanworks.
Actual tigers and other big cats like lions can get pretty fit by animal standards and they'll grapple each other like wrestlers, so the whole fit/wrestler themes slid by me fairly peacefully. I guess a parallel example can be made on Emboar being pretty bulky like a boar is, while Blaziken and Infernape are lithe like their own inspirations.
Dunno, cartoony proportions aside, I've begun to think the bara-ripped muscles thing a lot of art gives it is not paying attention to its actual body type, which is fit but not overtly ripped.
