Either way, I wish they'd try to bring out as much of a starter's potential as they possibly can rather than spending years jerking off over Greninja and neglecting the rest.
The Unova starters are plagued with a myriad of issues involving movepools and statspreads, Delphox has a horrible movepool and HA, Decidueye has little defence and a pointlessly high special attack it can't use, Incineroar could've been faster in exchange for the special attack that remains the same as Torracat, and I guess Chesnaught and Primarina could've gotten a little more bulk, along with the Liquid Voice issue. Meanwhile, Greninja gets an ability that lets it be nearly any type, a miraculous movepool, shilled to hell and back in the anime and a special form that floors out its offences and speed to make it godly.
