Whether or not a pokemon game is someone's favourite is completely subject. Platinumfags may know that roaming legends are a pain, but they still like it regardless. Emerald is my favorite pokemon game, it's not flawless, my it's still my favorite regardless. Nope, I don't mind Giratina or Darkrai because they stay where they are and don't require the player to have a Pokemon with a rare ability or a move like mean look. So quit defending a flawed game mechanic. It's not about patience. The only important roaming Pokemon were Mespirit and Cresselia. The three legendary birds can be caught in non-roaming form in FRLG, Gale of Darkness, or HGSS. The birds were just thrown in Platnium for people who have no better options for catching them, like the legendary beasts in FRLG.
