>>31861736>If he is as hypercompetent as you somehow think, I can't help but see a similarity with the other hypercompetent protag of Lack2. I like seeing the protagonists fail, but not because of idiocy. I enjoy characters that fail because of inability, or lack of power/perception. Sun has none of that so far either. He is a stereotypical character who acts "funny" and childlike when he's in a casual surrounding, and serious when he's in a dangerous situation. I despise this sort of stereotypical character and it feels like he flipflops fro being an absolute social retard to being a powerful ingenuitive fighter at the drop of a hat, much as many people ITT may despise Moon for being the stereotypical straight man who is built to react to things around her.Yes, it's been clear from your first post you don't like Sun. And I've agreed with you there. I dislike Sun as well. I'm not arguing to change your mind about Sun as a whole.
Just getting that out of the way first.
>such as calling other characters insulting things without realizing it and thinking his comment is nothing out of the ordinary. As far as I recall, that's only happened once, when he called Moon depressing. To make up for that, he was pretty careful not to insult Skull Grunts, because he knew what that would lead to. A mistake, in turn, Moon made.
He didn't care what he said when there was no danger, and he was careful when there was. That doesn't sound stupid, to me at least.
As for the childlike disposition, that's just his personality. It has nothing to do with intelligence or competence. I can see why you would dislike him for this, because I do too.
And I've already said I don't think how one keeps their possessions really say much about intelligence. No one keeps everything they own clean all the time. That's pretty much impossible.
>>31861791I've said all I wanted to say. I'll stop now. I'll also take your advise and not care about what one person thinks. I'm sorry.
