Assuming GF still wants to be surprising as they claim since BW2 what could be the next Pokemon game?

SM third version or sequels? People have been talking about ths since the day when the SM logos leaked. Pokemon Eclipse, Stars, SM2. Its very predictable

Same goes for remakes: Sinnoh is next in turn (with some people still insisting on Kanto but that would happen on the 20th annivesary not a year after no matter how surprising it would be).

So what will be the surprise?
No 7 gen follow up and straight gen 8?
Pokemon Z surprise return?
Maybe both third versions at once Stars and Z?

Overall it seems GF will rather return to being predictable and will do Alola again but thats just me.
