Krook is the weird kid in the back of the class that always does his homework, so everybody knows him if only to copy his shit.
He's the worst of the 3 Intimidate users (Arcanine>Gyarados>Krookodile), but strong ground typing is super desirable. Thing is, Garchomp does the "strong ground type" thing better.
So where does Krook fit in? In teams that need an intimidate user that don't have room for Garchomp.
Sadly that's a rare occurrence, and even then you'll probably see Arcanine because strong Fire is just as desired as strong Ground.
