Contra is famous for how good people try to adapt their tracks, Hotter than hell or Boss2 from super contra got really awesome remixes that keep it original even when they go prroogressive rock with them.
And finally contra Hard Corps has some of the most on point tracks for both format X and GTR attack despite those two being incredibly hard to adapt to normal instruments.
Ig anything i blame the shitty musicians for not respecting the framework they are given and instead try to hard to be original.
