I'm 100% with you on the shitty, limited supply of (summer only) clothing, but working within a set of limits can be quite fun, especially with the dye shops as a variable. Of course 90% of these are going to be girls wearing stripy socks and autists screeching REEEE SOCKS AND SANDALS DON'T GO TOGETHER but besides that I've seen some surprisingly fun ones.
