It should have been Grass/Dark just like the leaks said.

Actual medieval knights were never honorable or heroic, they were selfish gluttonous assholes who would oppress and metaphorically shit on peasants. As fighting type is associated with superheroes, fighting type simply don't make sense at all on this specific knight themed pokemon.

In addition, Grass/Dark would have been a better defensive typing.
