What the fuck is up with all these feminine-sounding names? This is cringeworthy as fuck.

Thank god at least Salazzle got spared from this bullshit. (she's also the only acceptable waifumon, i don't think this is a coincidence)

Generally speaking, if it ends with "a", it's a feminine name, and if it ends with "o", it's a masculine name.

generally speaking it's a lot easier in other languages with gendered articles. Spanish, for example, uses "la" to precede female nouns, and "el" to precede male nouns. However English doesn't have these, instead it can be sort of determined by the ending of a word. Normally nouns ending with "o" are male and "a" are female, but there's probably a lot more subtle ways to structure a word so that it seems feminine or masculine, like strong consonant sounds and such.

To many people's ears a name ending with a "a" sound sounds softer thus feminine and the reverse for names ending in a "o" sound. Obviously this isn't some iron clad rule but it is what it is.
