why would you do that, that's even worse. It's like acting to be a contrarian just to be a contrarian, you're not even picking it out of liking it. And to top it all off, people were hoping it wouldn't become uglier when it evolved (I even remember people eagerly asking for Water/Fairy specifically), which only makes me wonder.
what if it did turn into something ugly? I mean, disregard those who don't think of Primarina as cute, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that stuff. I'm talking about those who think Primarina is flawless and perfect and cute and they wouldn't change anything about it. What if Popplio never had that? Would their "pity" even last that long?
It makes me sad because had it not been for Primarina, Popplio probably wouldn't come even this far regarding being liked. I like people who like the entire line, but it doesn't sit right with me knowing some people pick Popplio but not for Popplio itself, but rather, its evolutions which are "cuter" and Primarina itself for its Fairy type. I'd really love to just forget all about it and say people just like what they like and leave them be and it's just a game, but when it comes to the Popplio line design wise, it just irks me for some reason when I see people having favoritism over Primarina and then all the memories come back of when literally everyone kept trashing Popplio, even if just for mocking reasons and now, everyone's head over heels over Primarina.
