This actually reminds me of that thread with the theory that going on an adventure with pokemon at 10 is an easy way of introducing a kid to a bunch of stuff like independance, some survivalism, and sex ed. Pokemon would probably see kids like the "baby" versions of pokemon, but kids seeing them banging each other would probably raise/answer a lot of questions.
