I know. I think owl fans are projecting what they WANTED onto Decidueye, not actually enjoying it. Meanwhile Incineroar and Primarina fans seem to actually have ended up pretty happy with their evolutions if all the constant threads devoted to them mean anything.

Design-wise, I do agree.
Seriously, I cannot look at Decidueye and not want to choke the person who designed that as well as the person who approved that design.

Before anyone says anything, Primarina's noodle arms and Incineroar's sausage fingers are horrible too.

I only see that issue with the in-game model, but in other official art, Primarina's arms look fine imo.

It's the opposite for me. They look bad on some fan-art, but they are completely fine on the in-game model. Same for Decidueye's wings, they only look bad on the TCG promo art thingy.

Would you guys rather have had Rowlet stay with its defensive approach or are you okay with it switching to a "fast" mixed attacker?

If the role switch didn't happen between Dartirx and Torracat, we would've had a different looking Decidueye (and Incineroar for that matter).
