I remember when I was first hyped for Mega Charizard X (simply because that was the version I got at the time), but now Mega Evolutions as a whole? They're practically forgettable to me. The way they were distributed and act just feels like a gimmick they can use as well to market certain designs as well and to make them more "cool". And I really hate the favoritism regarding starters as well, it just makes everything so goddamn convoluted.
