But in Japan, catfish are well known for being able to sense earthquakes, and a lot of earthquake warnings and safety info often depict little cartoon catfish, which is EXACTLY what Whiscash is. Plus, Whiscash's Japanese name is Namazun, which comes from Namazu, a catfish from Japanese mythology that can cause earthquakes, and is probably why Whiscash can learn Dragon Dance.
