If they're coming out this year, then yeah sure. But If there's literally no Pokemon games in 2017 and Game Freak jumps to 2018, it'll most definitely be on the switch

Switch has a lot of flaws, but the battery life isn't any worse than the launch 3DS models were.

Also if you're playing in portable mode you're probably on a train, plane, or bus with outlets.

Also portable batteries.

Bitch about real issues like the freezes, shitty unskinable material, and dock scratching.

There is absolutely nothing nice to say about the Switch except for some of the games it's getting. It's easily Nintendo's worst designed piece of hardware and has nearly convinced me it's actually the new blood that's been holding most of their games back in recent years.

It's powerful for a portable system, a WiiU on the go.

It's battery life is acceptable, but leaves some to be desired(2:30 is a meme, and 3 hours is honestly plenty for me)

Mario Kart 8D is gonna be great, so is Splatoon and Xenoblade 2 later this year.

Will usher certain games into HD finally(SMT, Pokemon, Monster Hunter, etc)

It's got some perks to its negatives, it's really a mixed bag though.

The true problems in that video are the possible scratching of the screen in the dock and the permanent cementation of the extra joycon piece. Everything else is par for the launch course and faulty consoles can be sent back for working consoles. I highly recommend it because no joke the portability of huge games like Zelda is truly glorious. You can take this shit anywhere.

I can ship this, OP.
But for Gen 8 perhaps, the second series of Gen 7 games will be still on 3DS.

Also I don't think I will ever buy a console as ugly as this one, Switch is even less pleasing than 2DS.

I believe the eventual future Pokemon games on switch will be also avaible for 3DS, maybe they will add some extra feature for the Switch versions but 3DS isn't an outdated console and definitely comfier than Switch for Pokemon and such RPGs.

Yeah, that's why the clamshell design was used three times in a row for the GBA SP, orginal Nintendo DS, and now the 3DS, because it was bad.

I only had a ds hinge break once, and that was with my first ds lite because I accidentally sat on it, although I have handled a o3ds so busted that the hinge flopped back and forth by far more than what can be considered normal, and the gray joypad was missing

The only one prone to failure was the Lite, and it would break almost instantly if it had that issue. I went through six broken hinges in the launch month just from regular use, all of which got returned to the store and ending with me deciding to stick with my launch original DS which is still kicking around today, as is my GBA SP and my launch year 3DS.
