Incineroar's design is literal dogshit. At no point is my brain ever fooled into thinking "Oh hey, that's a pokemon" when looking at it. It looks like someone wearing a costume. A cheap costume. I cannot envision how it walks or moves in a way that isn't uncanny. It's face looks terrible and appears as though it should be able to emote in some way, yet can't.
And that's not even getting into how terrible the basis for it's design is. Compared to all that, I'd gladly take "it just gets bigger/cooler."
