Tsareena is good but dhelmise can be switched in as a spin blocker or even can just take a hit. I find they have thier strengths and weaknesses.

Can't argue aginst decidueye, never really used it. I think if we get tutors and dhelmise gets synthesis it might be better but as of now thcan see the healing gives decidueye the edge.

Maybe, it would still just be a Gourgeist with Rapid Spin which honestly isn't an amazing niche. It has all the tools to be amazing in RU tho since they lack Rapid Spinners there and have tons of offensive Water Types that Dhelmise can wall (tho it hates the burn)

Dhelmise hits WAY harder then gourgeist though. Gourgeist's main problme is it's shallow moveset. Its physical moveset is terrible despite having a better physical attack. Dhelmise has power whip, shadow claw, anchor shot, gyro ball, and earthquake. I think that comparison is a little extreme, dhelmise is much better then gourgeist.

No, its defensive typing is fine. Fairy weakness isn't as big a dealbreaker as people make it out to be considering that Fairy isn't even a good offensive type.

What holds it back is that it doesn't specalize in any particular stat, and having a subpar physical movepool.

It's balanced all across the board, so it ends up a jack of all trades, master of none.

It's real weaknesses imo is the lack of strong moves (it doesn't even get FIRE BLAST), and being essentially a discount Kyurem-B in a metagame where the latter is allowed and currently BL.

Gengar is good right now because literally nothing but Tyranitar, Chansey & AV Magearna can't tank a Shadow Ball from it. Marshadow easily shiets over all these without even trying.

It works for Steel because the two types compliment each other extremely well.

Sure the weakness to Fire becomes 4x, but both Bug and Steel types hate Fire attacks anyway, and it's Bug/Steel's only weakness.

Depends on the Fairy. Bulu and Lele get downed by +2 Flash Cannon, but Fini and Unaware Clefable wall it for days. Magearna goes down to your Fighting STAB in two hits after a boost.

I'm assuming a set of Shell Smash/Clanging Scales/Focus Blast OR Sky Uppercut/Flash Cannon for this, dunno about EVs/IVs but just throwing in what the calc's default is for now. Secret Sword would be fucking amazing for Shell Smash Kommo-o

No Pseudo Legendary has a has a base attack stat under 100.
Tyranitar and metagross both have 95 Special attack, which would be the lowest except...
Garchomp takes it all the way down to 80. In exchange they have much higher bulk stats.

But the last two have 110/100 Offenses and Hydreigon spends 105 BST on fucking Attack for no goddamn reason. Imagine if 10, 15, or even 25 of that was put in Special Attack? Maybe some in Speed.
Kommo-O at least isnt in a bad speed tier, cock blocking Venu, unboosted M-Gyarados, and Dragonite all at once. But jesus fuck its offenses are way too mixed. Cant even blame its bulk for it either, since Goodra sacrificed nearly 30 Defense and a tad bit of HP to get its monster 150 Sp. Def

bug has some fucking great defensive properties. Pairs pretty well with rock as well (removes rocks ground/fighting weaknesses, rock removes bug fire/flying weaknesses). Ground would be good with it, water is pretty good with it. In fact the only /bug that are objectively worse are flying and grass.

Kartana and Shaymin have decent movepools and they're tiny as fuck

Grass types that actually have passable movepools are mostly dual typed or are legendary if anything. They probably gave Tangrowth a good movepool for having a caveman motif. And a caveman design is bound to learn Rock and Ground moves.

The tiers in OP's post are Smogon's tiers. The tiers are usage based tiers. Each tier has a metagame with different ban lists (typically the lower the tier, the more rules). There is OU (Overused), UU (Underused), RU (Rarelyused), NU (Neverused), PU (it's just a pun and doesn't stand for anything), and Ubers (The banlist for OU that has its own metagame).

Basically, there's VGC, which is Game Freak's official, heavily regulated doubles tournaments. Then there's Smogon, a third party who organizes most simulator play, if not all.
