SM Ash is trying to not become that, but at the same time, became a literal walking punching bag that only battles every so often and becomes almost a side asset towards everyone else.
you just can't win, Bonnie as a fucking child, managed to be more interesting of a character than these two coupled together. Remember the Tyrantrum episode? Goddamn it, that episode really made me like the character. She was still acting like a child was, but at the same time, she bloody swallowed up her pride and let Tyrantrum be in his place.
Me? I'm trying to stay my hopes up and at least hope Ash gets more freedom asides from simply staying at school doing slice of life shenanigans and barely progressing. I want to see SM Ash at least accomplish being on its own, but of course this bloody anime won't allow it now that he's got a fucking crowd behind him.
