At the beginning, it checks your SD card for a XY or ORAS save file. if you're champion in either of those, you get a special, much shorter main story that doesn't try to teach you the toddler-level basics of the game. Bring the Dexnav back. You can keep SOS chaining for EV training, but using Dexnav for finding HAs was SO much easier.

Remove the PC canonically being 11. Gens 5 and 6 had obviously older protagonists, why go back to being 11? As an adult I find it kind of weird to have a set age.

I could tell you the problem but I don't know how to fix it. The problem is that I have no incentive to play it after a single playthrough. The only reason I can imagine I would want to play it is an Emerald-caliber third version. I enjoyed my first playthrough immensely and would rank it as one of the best first playthroughs I've had in any pokemon game. I would just rather play any other core pokemon game than play SM.
