>>32062348I think Yu-Gi-Oh but its kind of more understandable. It was originally a manga by a single author with a general premise. When you look back at the original stuff it's like a totally different world. Appealing to old fans means you have to go all out.
Pokemon's always been about the same, so you just need to add a new form to an old Pokemon or make a cameo and that's all the nostalgia pandering you need to satisfy the original audience.
