Don't give up, you gotta bite the bullet and stop procastinating, mate, there's always gonna be someone better, and that's good, apply yourself, practice life drawings, there are sites online to copy the poses, do that shit EVERY day and also practice your own style, animation is mostly spacing, timing but also getting the best pose you can.
I studied animation in a shitty school here but also did a one year intensive program on classical animation, just fucking practice, that's it, don't be afraid to show it to people and teachers, there's plenty of studios in the U.S. and specially Canada to work, but don't let go of the dream, my niggu.
I'm DEFINETLY not the best but I got to be good enough to work for a year while finishing my career and also about to go and work in another country for 2D animation, enjoy the ride, it's only shitty if you only look at the shitty parts.
