This is why egg moves, Hidden Ability instead of just three abilities, and changing TM lists between entries are terrible mehanics.

Even worse when some specific combination is flat out illegal. Hidden ability + gen 3/4 move tutor is a real bitch, we could have some really nice shit if that wasn't a thing.

Because they make new instances of Pokemon usable but not the old ones which players have grown attached to.

Egg moves should just be tutor moves and tutors ever present, Hidden Abilities should be accessible with an Ability Capsule, and the TM list should not change, but ever grow.
